The Health bill was a perfect example of people power, this " draconian " health bill was only stopped because the normal working people of Northern Ireland stood up and became active.

Not one person but an entire movement of people, each doing something small.

Sending an email to an MLA's, contacting councillors, attending a council meeting, putting out a post to raise awareness of the danger this bill was going to inflict on everyday working people.

Attending public meetings, exercising your right to peaceful assembly. spreading the word of what our politicians were about to do to us and our children. 

Thank you every single person for everything you did no matter how small you think it was, it made a real difference.

This is evidence that it made a massive difference and changed the immediate course of history in NI.

We hope to use the same people power to make a change to bring power back to the people and away from foreign corporations and countries.

This was a bill that had more power of arrest and destruction than internment. A civil rights barrister described the bill as "Draconian."

Allowing "authorised officers" to enter homes without a warrant, without reason, it was confirmed by court that during covid the police did not have the power to enter a home.  

"It supersedes the terrorism act, the Justice and security act, its actually quite frighting"

"It gives immense power to one person, I see nothing in this document that accedes to any accountability."

"There is no glossary of terms, and no definition of terms in this document"
